It goes up higher. I have a 2" body lift on mine and it's awsome! Along with my 6" suspension lift I'm able to fit 37" MT/Rs at full stuff with my Camper Special Dana44/Ford 9" combo(full width).

YOU CAN NOT DO A BODY LIFT ON A XJ. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. SO YOU APPARENTLY DON'T HAVE AN XJ. Sorry for the yelling but if you are going to post information on the internet know what your talking about first. Thanks that is all.

Why do you have to yell? I do infact have a body lift on my 1988 XJ. Maybe you need to do some investigating of your own, it is doable but you will not find a "bolt-on" kit.

Prove it by posting pics and write up on how you did. Come over to naxja.org and post up and hear from other XJ experts. They will also tell you there is no way to do a BODY lift on a XJ, a SUSPENSION lift yes but not body. On a unibody vehicle the frame is part of the body, so you can not separate them to do a body lift, and if thats what you did that is VERY unsafe.

You seem to be very unedjucated. Did you learn everything you know from reading internet forums?
Perhaps your parents didn't hold you enough when you were a child.

I can find more if you want. So you are telling me that a site for nothing but XJs is wrong. I don't think so. I am not trying to argue with you. Just don't like people to be missed informed when they find information like this.
